Send the exact assignment or rubric from your classroom and a custom sample written to it lands in 24 to 48 hours, the first one free. LDR-670 is GCU’s Global Leadership course. It centers on managing across borders in specifics, where a staffing, control or ethics decision changes shape depending on the country it lands in. What LDR-670 is really about
LDR-670 is not a second pass at leadership theory. The styles and traits covered elsewhere in the program are assumed here, and the subject becomes what happens to a manager's decisions when the people affected sit in three countries under different law, different expectations of authority and different working hours. Culture enters as an instrument rather than a topic, useful when it changes something concrete: who gets promoted, how a disagreement is raised, whether a target is negotiated or handed down. The frameworks are taught with their error bars attached, since a country average says almost nothing about the person in the meeting. What the course is really training is the habit of asking, before each decision, which part of it does not travel.
Written work tends to be applied rather than theoretical. Sections often ask you to take one real multinational, or your own experience of working across borders, and reason through a specific problem: an assignment abroad that failed, a policy that landed badly in one region, a negotiation that stalled for reasons nobody named. Personal experience is welcome and is written as a composite, with employers and colleagues left unidentifiable. There is usually a development strand as well, where you weigh your own readiness against something more demanding than a self report. The ethics topic asks where a standard should hold everywhere and where local practice deserves deference, and the program's worldview commitments are argued rather than assumed.
What LDR-670’s assessments ask for
Rubrics here reward specificity about place. Name the countries and the actual practice at issue, then show what the difference does to your decision, so that a paper about promotion in Seoul and Stuttgart ends with two different promotion processes and a reason for each. Cite the framework you use and state its limits in the same paragraph, because a grader who sees dimension scores treated as facts about individuals stops trusting the rest. Where local law or an agreement with a workforce body applies, say so and work inside it. Bring in the people who carry the decision on the ground, the regional lead, the interpreter, the joint venture partner, and give each one something in the design that was not there before. APA citation applies, including to country data.
Where students lose points in LDR-670
The failure that costs the most here is the country paragraph that changes nothing. A paper explains that the region values hierarchy and indirect communication, cites a source for it, and then recommends the same open feedback session, the same rollout date and the same metric that would have been chosen for a single site at home. Culture was described, not used. The related version puts a stakeholder list in the middle of the paper, regional directors, local supervisors, a partner firm, and never lets any of them alter the design, so the list reads as a formality. Graders test it simply: cover the culture section and see whether the recommendation still stands unchanged. If it does, that section was ornament around a decision made without it.

Using an LDR-670 sample the right way
Read a sample here for the moments where the writing gets specific. The useful passages are the ones naming a country, a practice and a changed decision in the same breath, and the useful structure is the one that puts the limits of a framework beside its use rather than in a footnote. Then write from your own setting, because the two countries you actually work between, and the one problem you have watched go wrong, will produce detail no borrowed paper can supply. Your regions, your constraint, your call. Keep the sample as a model of how specific the writing has to get, and keep its examples out of your file.
How these samples are written
Method, in one line: rubric first, structure from the rubric, DQs substantive and final, assignments originality-safe by construction. Topic counts vary by class length; the catch-all drawer absorbs 5-week and 16-week variants. Your free request matches what your classroom actually shows.
LDR-670 questions, answered
I built a table comparing two countries on cultural dimensions. Why did it not earn much?
Because a comparison is not yet an argument. The gap between two scores only matters once you say which practice it changes, so follow the table with the meeting format you would use, the way you would deliver bad news, or the approval step you would add. A table nobody acts on is reference material sitting in the middle of a paper.
Can I use national averages to explain a colleague's behavior?
Not as an explanation of that person. A country score is a distribution, and the individual in front of you may sit anywhere in it, so writing that a manager avoided conflict because of nationality is a claim the data cannot support. Use the average to generate a question you then check, and report what you actually observed.
My global rollout plan was marked down for being vague. What does a strong one include?
A named owner in each region, a sequence rather than a single launch, and dates that respect local holidays, notice periods and consultation requirements. Say who signs off where, and what happens in the region that says no. A plan written as one date for everyone tends to mean nobody has spoken to the regions yet.
